Detailed information

Product detailed description

Nakiri 165mm 33V Sakai Kikumori

Preparing vegetables requires a blade that does not crush the ingredients but cuts through them cleanly. The Nakiri 165mm 33V Sakai Kikumori has a laminated blade with a Japanese VG10 stainless steel core and a Damascus cladding. The blade height is slightly lower than usual, making the knife feel lighter and more agile in the hand. Its characteristic rectangular profile, combined with a thin, straight edge, is ideal for vertical cuts and glides smoothly through vegetables and fruit, whether you are cutting thin slices or small cubes.

About the manufacturer

Materials and maintenance

The blade core is made of Japanese VG10 stainless steel. Thanks to its composition, it combines the advantages of carbon and stainless steel—it achieves high sharpness, has excellent edge retention, and at the same time resists corrosion. The handle is made of oak wood.

Wash the knife by hand only, dry it immediately after use, and store it in a dry place.

Good to know

Use the knife on a cutting board made of wood or another material that is gentle on the edge. It is not intended for cutting bones, pits, shells, hard woody stems, or frozen foods. Do not use it for prying or other lateral loading of the blade.

Do not wash the knife in a dishwasher or use a rotary electric sharpener. Keep it out of the reach of children and store it so that the blade is protected from damage and unintended contact.
