    Nože nejsou jen kuchyňský nástroj, ale jeden z nejzákladnějších předmětů každodenního života. Vaření, příprava surovin i drobné domácí úkoly díky nim získávají rytmus, přesnost a přirozenost. Důležitá není jen ostrost, ale také vyvážení, materiál, úchop a pocit, že nástroj funguje přesně tak, jak má. Kuchyňské nože, brusné kameny i doplňky pro péči nejsou jen vybavení, ale věci, ke kterým si člověk vytváří vztah používáním a časem. Santoku, Gyuto, Petty nebo tradiční japonské modely jako Deba či Nakiri mají své místo v každodenním rytmu kuchyně stejně jako kvalitní evropské nože pro univerzální použití. Nejde o množství, ale o správný výběr. Dobře zvolený nůž vydrží roky, stárne s elegancí a stává se přirozenou součástí domácnosti.
