Modern Japanese Gardens - Shinobu Sawada, Tadafumi Aoza
"What is the beauty and the appeal of Japanese gardens? Around 1,300 years ago, Japanese gardens were invented as spaces for people to enjoy pleasant views and appreciate the richness of the four seasons. Japan is composed of islands surrounded by water and has an abundance of nature, including beautiful mountains and rivers. Japanese gardens have been created, not by recreating nature, but by miniaturizing it with rather abstract, artistic interpretations and senses."
The Japanese garden represents the essence of Japanese culture and embodies the spirit and philosophy of this country. It is characterized by a unique style, quality of materials, and attention to detail. The book Modern Japanese Gardens captures this spirit through the works of 20 contemporary masters of Japanese garden design. The gardens featured in the book Modern Japanese Gardens come from various places in Japan and are set in different environments, from private homes and temples to cafes, restaurants, and shops. Some have a traditional look, while others have a distinctly modern aesthetic. The book Modern Japanese Gardens contains an insightful text about each garden, revealing the design concept and use of plants, along with photographs examining the details and overall aesthetics that shape the design.

Haws - Gentle drops
It all began with an idea. A watering can that waters gently like rain. Watering with a clear direction, respecting both plants and the gardener's hand.
Japanese Microseasons
Rain moistens the soil, Sparrows begin to nest, Silkworms start feeding on leaves, Salmon gather and swim upstream, and much more.
Garden Awakening
