    Wabi-Sabi is a Japanese concept that arises from simplicity and authenticity. It values the beauty of imperfection. The elegance of natural materials, nobility without sophistication, timelessness with tradition: these are the principles that define Axel Vervoordt’s personal view of this concept. This book presents Vervoordt’s interiors inspired by the wabi philosophy and shows readers how to create calm, peaceful spaces where beauty is distilled to its purest form. The book was created in collaboration with architect Tatsura Miki. The photographs, which transport us into the unique atmosphere of these interiors, were taken by Laziz Hamani.
