    Product detailed description

    Double-sided wooden stropping block with leather and handle. The base consists of oak wood treated with linseed oil. The wood is covered with a 3mm sheet of natural leather. The block is ideal for polishing, stropping, and sharpening carving tools, especially knives and chisels with a flat cutting edge, but also razors, barber tools, and others. Thanks to the handle, you can choose the most suitable position for sharpening. The block is used together with polishing paste.

     Stryi

    STRYI is the first Ukrainian manufacturer of carving tools. The company was founded in 2009, and its name corresponds with the name of the city it originates from - Stryi, in the western part of Ukraine. Their production is focused on carving and woodworking tools, thus continuing a tradition, especially in the vicinity of the Carpathian Mountains. In production, Stryi maintains full control over every phase, from pattern preparation and shaping to heat treatment, polishing, sharpening, and adjustment.

    Oak wood, natural leather.

    Maintenance

    No special maintenance is required. Keep dry. From time to time, it can be treated with linseed or camellia oil. Both wood and leather acquire a pleasant patina with use.
