Kitchen Scissors Toribe Seisakusho 

Stainless steel kitchen shears by the Japanese brand Toribe Seisakusho. Their simple design is the result of an emphasis on efficient material use while maintaining high quality and functionality. They feature a clean, minimalist "all-steel" look with no plastic or rubber parts. Despite this, the handles are so cleverly designed that they do not press into the fingers, making the shears lightweight and perfectly balanced. The main innovation is their construction – when opened to a right angle, the blade hinge unlocks, allowing the shears to be separated into two individual pieces. This makes both cleaning and sharpening remarkably easy. The blades are exceptionally sharp, ensuring a precise and clean cut. In East Asian cuisine, shears are commonly used for cutting herbs, vegetables, and seaweed, as well as for processing fish and preparing traditional dishes. Thanks to their versatility, they are also useful for a wide range of other household tasks.

The blades are made of stainless steel suitable for food use, handles, and screws from SUS303 stainless steel.

Maintenance

After disassembly, the individual parts of the scissors can be easily cleaned and maintained. The disassembled parts are for maintenance purposes only, always reassemble the scissors for safe use. Do not use them for preparing frozen meat, bones, or other hard materials (such as metal or plastic). We recommend washing the scissors by hand, but they are also suitable for a dishwasher. The materials used are heat resistant, so they can be sterilized by boiling. If the performance of the scissors deteriorates over time, simply disassemble them and coat the back sides of the blades with a thin layer of food-grade or camellia oil.

TORIBE SEISAKUSHO je mladou a uznávanou značkou kuchyňských nůžek. Po setkání s jejími produkty je evidentní její focus na ultramoderní designové provedení, přesto si uchovává rys tradičního Japonska.

Japonská firma byla založena v 60. letech minulého století a to v tradičním regionu výroby drobných ocelových produktů. Své produkty na domácí půdě ve městě Sanjo nejen navrhuje, ale i sama kompletně vyrábí. Navíc disponují vlastní slévárnou, která jim zaručuje kontrolu nad základním materiálem a jeho složením. Vyhotovení pak probíhá za pomoci strojů a pod dohledem a s finální úpravou japonských řemeslníků. Každý produkt projde jejich rukama a prochází dokončovacím procesem. Čepele jsou ostřeny, hrany zabroušeny, všechny úhly a spoje zarovnány.
