Detailed information

Product detailed description

Handmade kitchen knife made of stainless steel in the traditional Japanese Nakiri shape. Nakiri is an ideal knife for cutting fruits and vegetables. Its rectangular high blade without a tip is suitable for cutting all the way to the board without the need for horizontal pulling or pushing. The height of the blade allows the use of hand joints as a guide when cutting for safe, precise, and quick work. It is perfect for slicing vegetables into thin slices, such as cucumbers, tomatoes, or onions.

Nakiri by Pallarés is slightly more robust and heavier than traditional Japanese knives. The handle is made of hard and durable boxwood. It is a hard wood with high density, which was once used for its properties, for example, to make petanque balls.

With more than 100 years of experience, it easily becomes a symbol of uncompromising quality and craftsmanship. Their rich history and passion for honest production are the key values on which this love brand builds its reputation.

Material

Stainless steel, boxwood.

Maintenance

Wash the knife by hand. Avoid the dishwasher, which can cause damage to the blade and wooden handle.

For regular sharpening, we recommend the natural sharpening stone from Pallarés Solsona. The wet method on the sharpening stone can also be used, for example, the Japanese sharpening stone KING.

PALLARES_BRAND-SLIM

Nožířství v Solsoně má dlouhou tradici sahající až do 16. století.
