    Leather Strop Block by Stryi

    Double-sided wooden strop block with leather and handle. The base consists of oak wood treated with linseed oil. The wood is covered with a sheet of 3mm natural leather. The block is ideal for polishing, stropping and sharpening carving tools, especially knives and chisels with a flat cutting part, but also razors, barber tools and others. Thanks to the handle, you can choose the most suitable position for sharpening. The block is used together with polishing paste.

    Manufacturer

    Stryi is a Ukrainian manufacturer of carving tools. The company was founded in 2009 and its name matches the name of the city it originates from - Stryi, in the western part of Ukraine. Their production focuses on carving and woodworking tools, continuing a tradition that persists especially around the Carpathian Mountains. In production, Stryi maintains full control over each phase, from template preparation and shaping to heat treatment, polishing, sharpening, and adjusting.

    Oak wood, natural leather.

    Maintenance

    No special maintenance is required. Keep dry. Occasionally can be treated with linseed or camellia oil. Both the wood and leather will gain a pleasant patina with use.
