    Pallarés Solsona 

    Pallarés Solsona is primarily a family business specializing in the production of knives with a wide range of uses and other predominantly kitchen tools. Yet, their portfolio also includes garden scissors or axes. Today, they are the only manufacturer of their kind in the town of Solsona, which was once dotted with small workshops. With more than 100 years of experience, they easily become a symbol of uncompromising quality and craftsmanship. Their rich story and passion for honest production are key values on which this love brand builds its reputation.

    Material

    Carbon steel. Carbon steel is harder than stainless steel and retains its edge slightly longer. However, it requires some love and care because it tends to oxidize if not properly maintained. It is also natural for carbon steel to develop a patina over time.

    Maintenance

    Carbon steel blades offer higher sharpness, easier sharpening, but require more care compared to stainless. The scissors need to be oiled regularly, preferably even before the first use. Keep the carbon steel blade clean and dry after use. After cleaning, apply a thin layer of oil - preferably camellia, but almost any household lubricant such as WD-40 will suffice. This layer of oil protects the blade from moisture and corrosion.

    PALLARES_BRAND-SLIM

    Nožířství v Solsoně má dlouhou tradici sahající až do 16. století. Firma Pallarès, založená v roce 1917, je dnes posledním svědkem slavného průmyslu výroby nožů ve městě. Firma Pallarès byla založena bratry Lluísem a Carlesem Pallarèsem Canalem, kteří se brzy proslavili kvalitními noži, jež prodávali v regionu Solsonés, a také v provinciích Barcelona a Girona. Na začátku nového století převzala vedení firmy třetí generace. Modernizace a adaptace na nové technologie pokračovaly a trh se rozšířil i do Francie, Švýcarska, Německa a několika jihoamerických zemí.
