    Flower Scissors Toyama Hamono T-10

    Japanese stainless steel scissors designed for flower arranging in the Ikebana style. Intended for professional use. Model T-10 is made from stainless steel with a polished finish. The scissor blades are short, extremely sharp, but with a small cutting diameter. Due to the extreme sharpness, similar to kitchen knives, they allow for precise and clean cuts that help plants better absorb water. They are intended only for fresh plants and flowers with a stem diameter of up to 10 mm. Can also be used for bonsai care. Thanks to the use of stainless steel, these scissors are highly resistant to corrosion, making them ideal for work in humid environments. Ergonomically shaped handles provide a comfortable grip, but their special design is intended for experienced gardeners and professional flower studios – the cutting is smooth, without resistance, and the handles are elongated, snake-shaped, without finger holes.

    Manufacturer

    Produced by Toyama Hamono, a Japanese manufacturer based in a traditional blacksmith district in Sanjo Niigata. Its history began in 1861, when it started producing cutlery products. Today, Toyama Hamono is an established brand and enjoys recognition not only at home but also in western markets. Their current products still carry the tradition and art of making samurai Japanese swords. The production combines modern steel drawing manufacturing technologies with hand sharpening, polishing, and final finishing.

    Maintenance

    The scissors are intended for cutting fresh plants and flowers with a stem diameter of up to 10 mm.
    Cutting anything other than plants or using them incorrectly may cause damage. Do not cut hard objects such as wires, artificial and dried flowers, hard shrubs, or bamboo.

    After use, always clean the scissors and keep them dry. Depending on usage, regularly oil them, let them dry, and wipe off excess oil. You can use camellia oil or the offered maintenance kit. Oiling is also recommended if you plan to store them for a longer period.
