    Round Hairbrush by Redecker

    Small round palm-sized brush with a knob for better grip. The brush is made of oiled beech wood and firm black boar bristles. Boar bristles have a similar structure to human hair. They absorb natural oils produced by the scalp and gently distribute them along the hair strands while brushing. This makes the hair shinier and softer throughout its length. The brush is suitable for fine and long hair as well. It is ideal for daily detangling and, due to its smaller size, is also a great companion for travel.

The company's history dates back to 1935 when its founder Friedel Redecker began crafting the first brushes by hand. Today, the business is run by the third generation of Redeckers and has grown from local market sales to deliveries across various parts of the world. Their aim is to create sustainable, practical, and durable tools.

    Care

    To clean the brush, apply a small amount of mild shampoo or soap onto the palm of your hand and rotate the brush, then rinse and let it dry. If the wood of the brush starts to become dry, you can moisturize it with camellia oil or cold-pressed linseed oil. Allow the oil to fully absorb into the wood before using again.

    Redecker je výrobce přírodních kartáčů, štětců a mnoha dalších výrobků pro péči o tělo a domácnost se sídlem v německém Versmoldu. Historie společnosti sahá až do roku 1935, kdy její zakladatel Friedel Redecker začal ručně vyrábět první kartáče. Dnes podnik vede již třetí generace Redeckerů a postupně se z prodeje na místních trzích rozšířil na dodávky do různých částí světa. Jejich cílem je vytvářet udržitelné, praktické a trvanlivé nástroje. Důležitá je pro ně také vizuální stránka designu - ačkoli sledují především funkci, jejich věci jsou i krásné a dělají lidem radost při každodenním používání. Nejčastěji používanými materiály jsou místně dostupné dřeviny, jako je buk, dub, hrušeň a jasan. Dřevo zpracovávají neošetřené, případně ho olejují nebo voskují. K jejich výrobkům neodmyslitelně patří také různé druhy štětin a vláken, zejména kančí, koňské a kozí chlupy a rostlinná vlákna, jako je tampico, arenga, sisal a rýžová sláma.
