Morinoki Wooden Cutting Board Shizu Hamono

Beautiful and practical cutting boards from the Morinoki series by Shizu Hamono are ideal for everyday cutting as well as serving. Made from solid Japanese elm with a distinctive grain, they offer excellent durability and long-lasting life. The surface is treated only with natural oil to preserve the natural structure of the wood and ensure safety during use. The beveled edges allow for easy lifting from the table, and when turned over, the board transforms into an elegant serving tray. The boards are available in three sizes, a smaller square board for cutting and serving cheeses, bread, and fruit, a medium rectangular board for everyday use, and a large square board that comfortably fits even a small pizza. The boards complement the Morinoki series, which emphasizes simplicity, functionality, and natural materials. This line is suitable for cooks of all levels and includes versatile knives, specialized knives for soft and hard cheeses, as well as a pizza cutter.

Material

Japanese elm treated with natural walnut oil.

Note: The board is delivered in an original cardboard box.

Maintenance

Do not leave the board soaked in water; the wood may blacken or start to crack. After use, wash it and dry it thoroughly. Do not put it in the dishwasher and do not expose it to long-term direct sunlight. If the board becomes warped, moisten it with water, place it with the curved side down on a flat surface, weight it, and let it rest overnight. Over time you can restore the oil layer with walnut or other food-grade oils.

SHIZU-HAMONO_BRAND-SLIM
