The box is made of sturdy cardboard. Brushes are made from oiled beech wood and horsehair. The cloth is made of 55% linen and 45% organic cotton.

The wood of the brushes can be revitalized with camellia or cold-pressed linseed oil. Allow the oil to soak into the wood well before using the brushes again.
