    Product detailed description

    Forged scissors with a carbon steel blade. Red lacquered metal handles for better visibility and protection against corrosion. The scissors have sharp and relatively large blades, shaped like a leaf. The rougher appearance of the scissors corresponds to their primarily outdoor use. The larger blade along with the strong mechanism makes them ideal for general garden pruning, including thicker branches.

    Pallarés Solsona

    Pallarés Solsona is mainly a family business specializing in the production of knives with wide-ranging applications and other predominantly kitchen tools. Their portfolio also includes garden shears or axes. Today they are the only manufacturer of their kind in the town of Solsona, which was once dotted with small factories. With more than 100 years of experience, they easily become a symbol of uncompromising quality and craftsmanship. Their rich story and passion for honest production are the key values on which this love brand builds its reputation.

    Material

    Carbon steel. Carbon steel is harder than stainless steel and retains its edge slightly longer. However, it requires some love and care, as it tends to oxidize if not properly maintained. It is also natural for carbon steel to develop a patina over time.

    Maintenance

    The carbon steel blade offers higher sharpness, easier sharpening, but requires more care compared to stainless steel. The scissors need to be regularly oiled, ideally before the first use. Keep the carbon steel blade clean and dry after use. After cleaning, apply a thin layer of oil - preferably camellia oil, but almost any household lubricant like WD-40 will suffice. This oil layer protects the blade from moisture and corrosion.

    PALLARES_BRAND-SLIM

    Nožířství v Solsoně má dlouhou tradici sahající až do 16. století. Firma Pallarès, založená v roce 1917, je dnes posledním svědkem slavného průmyslu výroby nožů ve městě. Firma Pallarès byla založena bratry Lluísem a Carlesem Pallarèsem Canalem, kteří se brzy proslavili kvalitními noži, jež prodávali v regionu Solsonés, a také v provinciích Barcelona a Girona. Na začátku nového století převzala vedení firmy třetí generace. Modernizace a adaptace na nové technologie pokračovaly a trh se rozšířil i do Francie, Švýcarska, Německa a několika jihoamerických zemí.
