    Product detailed description

    Japanese scissors made by blacksmiths in Sanjo in Niigata Prefecture. Classic traditional Japanese design with loop-shaped handles. Primarily designed for Ikebana flower arrangement. With a short rounded yet sharp edge, it neatly separates flower fibers, improving water absorption (clean cut, sharp edge). Due to the blade length, it is ideal for detailed work but not suitable for thick branches. They can be used not only for ikebana but for general flower arranging and gardening, as well as working with bonsai. Made of high-carbon steel, which makes the scissors perfectly sharp and easily sharpened.

    Ikebana is a traditional Japanese art of flower arrangement, which has evolved over many centuries. The word "ikebana" literally means "art of flowers". Ikebana is more than just flower arrangement, it is an art form that aims to express simplicity, harmony, and natural beauty.
