    The Lily garden hoe by Adler is made from certified European ash and C45 steel with a stainless finish, ensuring long durability. The handle has a special non-slip coating, which provides comfortable and safe use.

    Manufacturer

    Adler is a traditional German brand with a 100-year history. In 1919, Josef Schmitt laid its foundations when he opened a small blacksmith shop in the village of Wiesental. To this day, the brand JSW, referencing its origin, is stamped on all axes. The Adler company holds several certifications in the areas of origin, safety, and ecological production. The production plant is located in the south of Germany near the city of Heidelberg and is still run by the fourth generation of the Schmitt family.

    Material

    The hoe head is made as a single piece of C45 steel. Ash is used for the wooden handle.

    Maintenance

    No special maintenance required. Store the hoe in a cool and dry place. After use or before long-term storage, apply oil to the head. The manufacturer recommends Ballistol, as it can be used for treating the head, wooden handle, and leather sheath. For sharpening, use a whetstone or puck. Do not heat the edge, e.g., with an electric grinding wheel.
