Material

Oiled oak wood with FSC Mix Credit certification, horsehair.

Usage

To remove makeup, use the brush dampened with a cleansing facial milk. Use very light and gentle circular movements and avoid the eyes and mouth. During the first uses, the brush may feel rough on the skin, but this will ease after a while as the skin gets used to the massage. Start by cleaning less sensitive areas such as the forehead, chin, and nose. During use, rinse the brush in lukewarm water to soften it, you can also add a bit more facial cleanser. If you have skin problems, consult with a dermatologist before using the brush.

Maintenance

After use, rinse the brush and let it dry on the bristles, so that water does not seep into the wood. To clean the brush, apply a small amount of cleaning cream, gentle shampoo, or soap to your palm and swirl the brush, then rinse it and let it dry. If the wood of the brush starts to dry, you can lubricate it with camellia oil or cold-pressed linseed oil. Let the oil soak well into the wood before using again.
