Product detailed description

Chef's Knife Boxwood by Pallarés Solsona

This beautifully crafted chef's knife will bring you joy in both large and small kitchen tasks. Like all knives from Pallarés, it is manufactured and sharpened by hand. Thanks to its sharp 20 cm blade and ergonomic handle, you will achieve perfect cuts with minimal effort. The blade is made of quality stainless steel, suitable for slicing and chopping. Its width is ideal for a wide range of cuts, from vegetables through meat or fish to chopping herbs. The sturdy, ergonomic handle is made of boxwood, which in Czech is zimostráz. It is a hard wood with high density, and its properties were once used for making pétanque balls. Its uniform structure also makes it naturally water-resistant.

Material

Stainless steel, boxwood. Boxwood, known in Czech as zimostráz, is a hard wood with high density. It was once used for its properties to make pétanque balls, today primarily for musical instruments.

Maintenance

Wash the knife by hand. Avoid the dishwasher, which can cause damage to the blade and wooden handle. For regular sharpening, we recommend a natural whetstone by Pallarés Solsona. The wet method can also be used on a whetstone, for example, you can find Japanese whetstone KING or synthetic whetstone Suehiro GS on our site.

PALLARES_BRAND-SLIM

Nožířství v Solsoně má dlouhou tradici sahající až do 16. století.
