    Japonský kemping není jen pobyt venku, ale styl života postavený na jednoduchosti, klidu a promyšleném prostoru. Každá věc má své místo a každý nástroj svůj smysl - nejde o co nejvíc vybavení, ale o správný výběr, který je funkční, kompaktní a vizuálně harmonický. Oblíbený je i solo camp, tedy kempování o samotě, kde se oheň, ranní káva nebo tiché čtení stávají formou odpočinku i meditace. Důležitá je také estetika camp site: stan, lucerna, nízké křeslo nebo konvice vytvářejí malý venkovní prostor, kde se člověk cítí dobře. Kemp není o výkonu ani dobývání přírody, ale o respektu k místu, tichu a jednoduchých rituálech. Vaření na ohni, pomalé večery pod lampou nebo chvíle strávené venku bez spěchu jsou právě tím, co dává celému zážitku smysl.
