    Black Universal Scissors 215mm by Misuzu Hasami

    Universal scissors by Misuzu Hasami made from stainless steel and coated with a thin layer of fluoropolymer. This layer reduces friction, prevents jamming, and allows you to cut even sticky materials, such as tapes or adhesive foils, without leaving marks on the blade. The tip of the scissors contains a small magnet, which is useful for picking up needles and pins. The ABS plastic handles are suitable for right-handed and left-handed people. They are useful for regular household cutting as well as more sophisticated creative projects.

    Manufacturer

    Misuzu Hasami company was founded in 1949 and offers products with excellent sharpness and durability, refined by a successful combination of tradition and the most modern technology. It specializes mainly in tailor scissors and Japanese Nigiri scissors. Japanese Nigiri are the oldest form of scissors: they are forged from a single piece of steel, are exceptionally light, and comfortable to hold. At Misuzu, their production is carried out by hand, using traditional techniques passed down from generation to generation.

    Stainless steel coated with fluoropolymer, ABS plastic. 

    Note: Supplied in plastic packaging. 

    Maintenance

    The fluoropolymer coating protects the scissors from dirt and rust. In case something sticks on the blade, it can be cleaned by applying adhesive tape or gently wiping it with a drop of alcohol. Be careful not to scratch the coating. The manufacturer guarantees long sharpness of the blades, if sharpening is needed, proceed carefully regarding the surface coating.

    Misuzu Hasami se nachází ve městě Ono v prefektuře Hjógo, severně od města Miki. Miki je nejznámějším japonským výrobním centrem truhlářského nářadí, kde se vyrábějí pily, hoblíky, srpy, dláta a další, zatímco Ono je známé především nůžkami a počítadly. Společnost Misuzu Hasami byla založena v roce 1949 a nabízí výrobky s vynikající ostrostí a trvanlivostí, zdokonalené úspěšnou kombinací tradice a nejmodernější technologie. Specializuje se především na krejčovské nůžky a japonské nůžky Nigiri. Japonské nigiri jsou nejstarší formou nůžek: jsou kované z jednoho kusu oceli, jsou výjimečně lehké a pohodlně se drží. V Misuzu jejich výroba probíhá ručně, za použití tradičních technik předávaných z generace na generaci.
