    The Adler Holly garden trowel is made in Germany and offers excellent quality. Its steel head made from C45 steel with a stainless finish ensures long-lasting durability. The short wooden handle is equipped with a non-slip band for a comfortable grip.

    Manufacturer

    Adler is a traditional German brand with a 100-year history. In 1919, Josef Schmitt laid its foundations when he opened a small blacksmith shop in the village of Wiesental. To this day, all axes are stamped with the JSW brand, referencing its origins. Adler is the holder of several certifications in the fields of origin, safety, and ecological production. The production plant is located in southern Germany near the city of Heidelberg, and the entire company is led by the fourth generation of the Schmitt family.

    Material

    The trowel head is made from carbon enhanced C45 steel with a stainless finish. Ash wood is used for the handle. The handle end is coated with a water-resistant and non-slip colored band for a comfortable grip without gloves.

    Maintenance

    No special maintenance required. Store the hoe in a cool, dry place. After use or before long-term storage, apply oil to the head. The manufacturer recommends Ballistol, as it can be used for treating the head, wooden handle, and leather sheath. For sharpening, use a sharpening stone or stone puck. Do not heat the edge, e.g., with an electric grinding wheel.
