Handcrafted from high quality Mino Washi paper, which is one of the three most famous traditional Japanese papers with a 1300-year history. The traditional Japanese technique of handmade paper, known as "tezuki", has been continuously refined and adapted to modern methods. The result is a strong and durable paper that has its unique and elegant charm, differing from the Western style of paper. Double-layered, sturdy Washi envelopes are carefully handcrafted, and at the place designated for affixing the stamp, a verse by Akiko Yosano is printed: "From the realm of the moon in the great sky, did you come? You shine in the day, you shine at night." The Nadeshiko model features cherry pink and slightly translucent paper with brown horizontal lines.
