    Hand-forged hoe made from carbon steel with a triangular blade. This is a versatile tool that is great for weeding, cultivation, and hoeing. The larger head of the hoe, shaped into a point and curved inward towards the handle, proves highly effective when digging and removing weeds in densely planted bed borders.

    Pallarés Solsona 

    Pallarés Solsona is primarily a family business specializing in the manufacture of knives with wide applications and other predominantly kitchen tools. However, their portfolio also includes garden shears and axes. Today, they are the only manufacturer of their kind in the town of Solsona, which was once dotted with small workshops. With more than 100 years of experience, they readily become a symbol of uncompromising quality and craftsmanship. Their rich story and passion for honest production are key values on which this love brand builds its fame.

    Material

    Carbon steel. Carbon steel is harder than stainless steel and retains its edge a bit longer. However, it requires a little love and care because it tends to oxidize if not properly maintained. It is also natural for carbon steel to develop a patina over time.

    Maintenance

    Carbon steel is incredibly strong and durable, requiring minimal care to maximize its lifespan. To prevent corrosion, always ensure the tools are dry when not in use. Do not leave them outside overnight or in the rain. Protect the steel with our camellia oil or other protective oil to prevent rust. Occasionally oil or wax the handle.

    PALLARES_BRAND-SLIM

    Nožířství v Solsoně má dlouhou tradici sahající až do 16. století. Firma Pallarès, založená v roce 1917, je dnes posledním svědkem slavného průmyslu výroby nožů ve městě. Firma Pallarès byla založena bratry Lluísem a Carlesem Pallarèsem Canalem, kteří se brzy proslavili kvalitními noži, jež prodávali v regionu Solsonés, a také v provinciích Barcelona a Girona. Na začátku nového století převzala vedení firmy třetí generace. Modernizace a adaptace na nové technologie pokračovaly a trh se rozšířil i do Francie, Švýcarska, Německa a několika jihoamerických zemí.
