    Toribe Seisakusho Kitchen Scissors 

    Kitchen scissors made of stainless steel by Japanese brand Toribe Seisakusho. The beauty and simplicity of these scissors suggest that they were designed to minimize material usage while maintaining their quality and functionality. The scissors can be easily disassembled into two pieces by loosening the nut. This allows for easy cleaning and maintenance. The blades are extremely sharp and work like two small knives. In East Asian cuisine, scissors are used for cutting herbs, vegetables, seaweed, or preparing fish meat and traditional local dishes. The original purpose can be easily expanded for other household uses.

    Manufacturer

    Toribe Seisakusho is a recognized brand of kitchen scissors. Upon encountering its products, the focus on ultra-modern design is evident, yet it retains the trait of traditional Japan. The company was founded in the 1960s in a traditional small steel product manufacturing region. It designs and fully manufactures its products at home in the city of Sanjo. The creation involves the use of machines, and the final adjustment passes through the hands of Japanese craftsmen. Both serial and custom production are oriented towards the domestic and international markets. Their products are popular in Australia, Canada, and the United States.

    Material

    The blades are made of cutlery stainless steel, handles, and screws from SUS303 stainless steel.

    Note: Delivered in original packaging.

    Maintenance

    Do not use for frozen meat preparation, bones, or other hard materials (metal, plastic, and artificial materials). We recommend hand-washing the scissors, but they are also dishwasher safe. They can be disassembled into two pieces for cleaning and maintenance.
    They are made of heat-resistant material, allowing them to be sterilized by boiling. If the operation of the scissors deteriorates over time, simply disassemble and apply a thin layer of food-grade or camellia oil to the back parts of the blades.

    TORIBE SEISAKUSHO je mladou a uznávanou značkou kuchyňských nůžek. Po setkání s jejími produkty je evidentní její focus na ultramoderní designové provedení, přesto si uchovává rys tradičního Japonska.

    Japonská firma byla založena v 60. letech minulého století a to v tradičním regionu výroby drobných ocelových produktů. Své produkty na domácí půdě ve městě Sanjo nejen navrhuje, ale i sama kompletně vyrábí. Navíc disponují vlastní slévárnou, která jim zaručuje kontrolu nad základním materiálem a jeho složením. Vyhotovení pak probíhá za pomoci strojů a pod dohledem a s finální úpravou japonských řemeslníků. Každý produkt projde jejich rukama a prochází dokončovacím procesem. Čepele jsou ostřeny, hrany zabroušeny, všechny úhly a spoje zarovnány.

    Sériová i zakázková výroba se orientuje na domácí i zahraniční trh. Jejich produkty jsou oblíbené v Austrálii, Kanadě nebo Spojených státech. Užití jejich kuchyňských nástrojů je široké, přímo v Japonsku jsou zvyklí kuchyňské nůžky používat při přípravě bylin, koření, zeleniny a třeba i masa. Specifický způsob se dostává i do západních zemí, třeba při přípravě salátů a rybích specialit.
