    Olive Wood Serving Bowl Pallarés Solsona

    Preparing and serving food consists of small everyday rituals. Using natural materials when dining brings warmth and a tangible connection with craftsmanship into the kitchen. The Pallarès serving bowl is made from a single piece of olive wood. This material is valued for its exceptional hardness, natural resistance to odours, and distinctive, irregular grain, which makes every piece unique. The bowl has a finely smoothed surface treated with natural oil, which enhances the depth of the wood and protects it when in contact with food and moisture.

    Manufacturer

    Pallarès is a traditional Spanish knife workshop founded in 1917 by brothers Lluís and Carles Pallarès in the Catalan town of Solsona. Today, it is the last operating manufacturer in the region and is run by the third generation of the family. Most of the tools are still sharpened and assembled by hand here. The brand maintains its original character and focuses on producing functional knives with a rustic appearance and excellent cutting performance.

    Material and care

    The bowl is made of solid olive wood. 


    After use, wash it only by hand with lukewarm water and a mild detergent. Do not leave the bowl soaking in water for extended periods or place it in the dishwasher, where the wood could become deformed or crack. After washing, dry it immediately and leave it to air-dry. To preserve its rich colour, prevent drying out, and renew the protective layer, regularly treat the surface with mineral oil or another pure oil suitable for contact with food.

    The bowl is intended for serving dry or light foods such as bread, fruit, nuts, or cheese. It is not intended for long-term storage of liquids or very hot dishes.
