    Marking knife from Marples England 

    Ideal for precise marking before cutting. The carbon steel blade is deeply set into the wooden handle, secured by brass pins. The blade is beveled on one side. When marking, the flat side is used against the guide, allowing for more precise guidance than can be achieved with a pencil. It is a simple yet beautiful tool, suitable for carpentry and woodworking or wood carving.

    The carbon steel blade is set into a wooden handle made of birch or walnut.

    Certification

    The steel has a higher carbon content, so it is necessary to care for the tool. After work, always clean and keep the knife dry. Regularly oil the blade, for example with camellia oil, allow it to air dry, and then dry it completely. You can also occasionally oil and dry the wood and brass.
