    Huberd's Shoe Grease Shoe Cream

    This cream for leather shoes comes from the American classic Huberd's Shoe Grease Company. The company was founded in 1929 and has since specialized in the production of leather care products, including this cream, which is ideal for the protection and maintenance of leather products. The cream contains natural ingredients such as beeswax and pine tar, ensuring that your shoes are protected and carefully treated. In addition to shoes, it is also suitable for other leather accessories and clothing, sports equipment such as baseball or softball gloves, and leather furniture. Although Huberds' product was not specifically developed for treating wood, its application is useful for weathered, dry, or chipped wooden tools and objects. Apply the cream to a finely-grained solid wood table or old wooden furniture to enhance the grain, soften the touch, and beautify the surface.

    J.W. Huberd was the founder of Huberd's Shoe Grease Company. He was born in 1890 in Idaho and as a young man worked on a farm and in the mining industry. He later began producing leather care products that could protect leather products from harsh conditions. In 1929, he founded Huberd's Shoe Grease Company and began producing his original product, Huberd's Shoe Grease, which became very popular among people who needed protection for their footwear and other leather products.

    Ingredients

    The exact ingredients of the cream are a trade secret, but the basic ingredients include a blend of natural oils, beeswax, and pine tar. The manufacturer uses 100% unfiltered, unprocessed beeswax that contains propolis. It has a wonderful scent and natural antibacterial and antifungal properties. It is also moisturizing and water-resistant. Pine tar has antibacterial and antifungal properties that help protect the leather. It has been used for centuries to treat and protect wood, ropes, and leather. The cream does not contain animal fats or tallow, preservatives, or synthetic compounds, so it does not cause fiber degradation or unwanted expansion of the leather.

    Usage

    Ideal for the care of shoes, work boots, and highly used leather products. It can also be used on sports equipment, leather jackets, wallets, belts, handbags, bags, and more. It impregnates, protects, and restores. Before use, ensure shoes are clean and dry, ideally at room temperature. Apply a small amount directly to the leather and work it in with a soft cloth or brush. Let the shoes dry overnight and then polish them with a clean cloth to achieve a shine.  

    Note: Some types of leather may darken after application.

J.W. Huberd se zaměřil na kvalitu svých výrobků a používal pouze přírodní složky, jako je včelí vosk a sádlo. Díky svému úspěchu se společnost Huberd's Shoe Grease Company rozrostla a dodnes je jedním z předních výrobců výrobků na péči o kůži v USA.
