    Pixy XL Hammock by Leleka

    The Pixy XL Hammock is large enough for those who enjoy comfort or plan to sleep in a hammock. The fabric used features a special reinforced Ripstop weave and is exceptionally breathable. Therefore, it will be comfortable in any weather. Thanks to its flexibility, the hammock adapts to the shape of your body. The Pixy XL is very easy to install. Just find 2 trees (or anchors where you plan to attach the hammock) at a distance of 3 to 4.5 meters and install the hammock between them. Additionally, it is equipped with a unique fastening system - G-straps, which allow for not only quick hammock installation but also height adjustment without having to remove it from the trees. For transportation, the hammock folds into a compact bag the size of an orange. The suspension straps fold and are secured with rubber for convenient storage.

    Material and Maintenance

    The fabric is 20D Nylon Ripstop, straps are made from 4 mm nylon.  

    If the hammock gets wet and you need to pack it while damp, try to dry it as soon as possible. Failing to do so might result not only in an unpleasant odor but also in a deterioration of the technical properties of the hammock fabric. Do not store the hammock outside of its cover. The fabric might get mechanically damaged, which could later cause it to tear. If the hammock gets dirty, it can be machine washed. However, make sure to use the gentle/manual cycle, the water is no hotter than 30 degrees, and do not use spinning.

    To ensure the longest usage, follow the guidelines below: 

    • do not overload the hammock with more weight than recommended (135 kg)
    • the fabric fibers tend to migrate when wet, so it is not advised to use the hammock if it is wet
    • do not leave the hammock in the sun for prolonged periods (a week or more). The nylon fibers lose their properties due to sun exposure
    • avoid sharp and cutting objects in pockets
    • before lying down in the hammock, it is recommended to remove shoes to prevent damage to the fabric
