    Product detailed description

    A useful and entertaining invention for all indoor plant lovers. The first brushes of this type were used in German conservatories at the end of the 19th century. Redecker adopted the original design and adapted it for the present.

    Two brushes made of pearwood and goat hair are joined by stainless steel tongs, which you can squeeze to clean the leaves of plants from both sides at once. The fine goat hair wipes dust from the leaves without damaging them, restoring their shine and color. Dust on plant leaves also slows down nutrient absorption because it blocks sunlight, so regular dusting is very beneficial. The brush is especially useful for houseplants with large leaves, such as ficus, monsteras, strelitzias, alocasias, and others.

    Redecker je výrobce přírodních kartáčů, štětců a mnoha dalších výrobků pro péči o tělo a domácnost se sídlem v německém Versmoldu. Historie společnosti sahá až do roku 1935, kdy její zakladatel Friedel Redecker začal ručně vyrábět první kartáče. Dnes podnik vede již třetí generace Redeckerů a postupně se z prodeje na místních trzích rozšířil na dodávky do různých částí světa. Jejich cílem je vytvářet udržitelné, praktické a trvanlivé nástroje. Důležitá je pro ně také vizuální stránka designu - ačkoli sledují především funkci, jejich věci jsou i krásné a dělají lidem radost při každodenním používání. Nejčastěji používanými materiály jsou místně dostupné dřeviny, jako je buk, dub, hrušeň a jasan. Dřevo zpracovávají neošetřené, případně ho olejují nebo voskují. K jejich výrobkům neodmyslitelně patří také různé druhy štětin a vláken, zejména kančí, koňské a kozí chlupy a rostlinná vlákna, jako je tampico, arenga, sisal a rýžová sláma.
