    Fantasy Pencils by Viarco

    Graphite pencils HB / Nº2 with various themes. Viarco pencils, made in a fourth-generation family factory, are constructed using proven methods on traditional machines, drawing on long-standing experience. The quality of the pencils also depends on the materials used, with cedar wood used in production sourced only from certified suppliers. These pencils were created as a true reissue of the manufacturer's historical pencils. They feature themes ranging from road laws, cars, flags of European countries to fruits and vegetables, animals, antique stamps, multiplication tables, or the alphabet.

    Manufacturer

    Viarco is a fourth-generation family business. It is located in São João da Madeira near Porto and was founded in 1907, remaining the only pencil factory in Portugal to date. They produce pencils and sketching materials based on mixtures of graphite, carbon, and binders, which are still considered the highest quality.

    Viarco je rodinný podnik čtvrté generace. Nachází se v São João da Madeira poblíž Porta a byl založen v roce 1907, dodnes zůstavá jedinou továrnou na tužky v Portugalsku. Vyrábí tužky a skicovací materiály na bázi směsí grafitu, uhlíku a pojiv, které jsou dodnes považovány za ty nejkvalitnější. K jejich výrobě používá tradiční postupy a kvalitní materiály, cedrové dřevo na výrobu pochází z ověřených a certifikovaných zdrojů (PEFC, FSC®). Viarco se také aktivně věnuje společenskému rozvoji svého regionu a organizuje edukativní programy pro děti, umělecké rezidence a muzeologické výstavy. Věří, že tužka je vynikající nástroj, se kterým všichni začínáme cykly učení - nezbytný pro psaný, matematický či hudební jazyk nebo plastické vyjadřování. Jako pravděpodobně nejmenší továrna na výrobu tužek na světě, vnímá důležitost  jednoduchých předmětů každodennosti jako reprezentaci vlastní identity.
