Yamada
The Japanese company Yamada Industrial was founded in 1957 in Yokohama. It is the only manufacturer in Japan that produces frying pans and woks using the machine-hammering technique (uchidashi). Thousands of hammer strikes strengthen the steel and create a microscopic surface structure that improves oil retention and prevents ingredients from sticking. Yamada cookware serves in professional kitchens as well as home cooking environments.
